Curitiba Tour app for iPhone and iPad

Curitiba is the state capital of Paraná, Brazil. The app points on the city map the location of the main tourist attractions and the bus routes to these sights.

The page of each tourist spot contains a short description of the attraction, a list of bus lines that pass by the sight and links to municipal and state webpages, for additional information. Foreign visitors can get this information in English or Spanish.

For first time visitors, the app presents the different types of lines in the local transportation system, such as express, direct, neighborhoods, regular, downtown and airport buses.

After selecting an attraction, the app shows on the map the bus routes that pass by the sight and allows the user to visualize how these routes can be integrated.

Using GPS, the user can also view his own location on the map and thus identify nearby spots and bus routes closer to his position. An user already on the way to a tourist spot can know his position relative to the attraction anytime.

For those who visit Curitiba with their own transport, integration with the Maps app allows users to receive detailed information on how to get to the sights wtih routes and directions provided by the devices GPS.

On iPhones, the app integrates the basic functions of the phone itself and enables the user, for example, call theathers, museums, information desks at the airport and bus station or contact the City Guard stations in main sights.
